Dr. Charles Roman leads the private practice Roman Medical Group. A member of the American Osteopathic Association, Dr. Charles Roman serves the general internal medicine needs of patients in the Columbus, Georgia, community. Over the past 16 years, he has built the practice into one of the top primary care facilities in the region. The six providers in his group offer dedicated cardiovascular, hypertension, and diabetes care and maintain an extensive referral network.

After earning his DO degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Roman completed an internal medicine internship at the same institution. He pursued residency training at Allegheny University Hospitals in Philadelphia and has served as medical director of facilities such as Deerfield Nursing Home.

Prior to establishing the Roman Medical Group, Dr. Roman was a physician with the Columbus Regional Healthcare System. In this role, he provided care that ranged from cardiology to geriatrics. Active in his local community, he supports the Boys and Girls Club of Columbus.
