Dr. Charles Roman is a veteran and health care professional, who serves as CEO at Roman Medical Group. A passionate advocate for caring, compassionate health care, Dr. Charles Roman started his practice in 2002. He maintains affiliation with the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).

The AOA is a national professional organization that provides resources for osteopathic physicians and students, funds research efforts in the industry, and encourages advocacy for osteopathic issues. The organization was originally founded in 1896, with only a small group of doctors. Today it is the base for hundreds of thousands of members.

As part of its advocacy efforts, AOA each year hosts Advocacy for Healthy Partnerships, a series of conferences available to interested parties who wish to better prepare themselves to advocate for patients and the osteopathic practice. Advocacy for Healthy Partnerships gives members training in contemporary health issues in society, tips and advice for meeting with legislators and policymakers, and general know-how of advocating.
